Keepin' Busy in the Land Between

Sorry Ya'll! It's been a while!

It's been crazy busy here the past few weeks. Midterms, Three day field trip to the Negev, my birthday, Four day trip to Galilee, and much much more! I'll try and give a quick update via pictures and a little commentary:

Amelia and me conquering the Wadi Kin

The Wadi Kin

Overlooking Tel Arad, where a double altar was found, one to YHWH and one to a pagan god. This was probably one of the temples Solomon built for one of his foreign wives.

Some of my favorites girls and a Mediterranean sunset.

Me (David) beating Amelia (Goliath) at tel Azekah, overlooking the Elah Valley where the battle took place

Masada

The family at Masada

Dr. Wright and the ladies at Masada

Masada

Me and the largest erosion crater on earth

Cave 4 in Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found

En Gedi

Floatin' in the Dead Sea

About to explore Hezekiah's tunnel (note my killer headlamp-- thanks Dad!)

Shrine of the Books (where the Dead Sea Scrolls are housed)

My Birthday flowers from my parents!

My 21st! Brittany, Me, Lauren, and Amy

So there you go. Get excited for a double post... Next up: Four day field study in the Galilee!
